Featuring extensive visual effects work by Photon VFX, Ghost Ship is the latest creep-out from the folks who brought us the recent remakes of William Castle’s House on Haunted Hill and 13 Ghosts.
Produced by Joel Silver and Robert Zemeckis under their Dark Castle Ent. banner, the film stars E.R’s Julianna Margulies, Ron Eldard and Gabriel Byrne as members of a salvage crew who find more than they bargained for when they board an ocean liner that mysteriously reappears after vanishing nearly 50 years ago.
Ghost Ship is being distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures in association with Village Roadshow Pictures and NPV Ent. It opens in theaters nationwide today.
