Miss Twigley is ready to take her show on the road. Bix Pix’s beautifully clay-animated adaptation of Dorothea Warren Fox’s classic book, Miss Twigley’s Tree, will be available at the MIPTV market in France next week through Brenda Wooding Media (BW)M). The L.A.-based distributor will handle all domestic and global rights to broadcast, DVD, VOD, online streaming, mobile, IPTV and web streaming to the award-winning show which aired on public TV Stateside.
‘Now children from all over of the world will get to experience Miss Twiggley, her incredible treehouse and the friendly animals who call it home. BW)M has built an excellent catalog of programming and we are thrilled to be apart of it,’ states Kelli Bixler, exec producer of the Chicago-based Bix Pix, which also has studios in Los Angeles.
Under Bixler’s supervision, the studio recently produced an acclaimed short titled Christmastime for the Jews for the Saturday Night Live‘s TV Funhouse feature. Bix Pix is currently working on three sequels to its award-winning short, Red Planet Blues, which will premiere later this year. Also in the works are two TV shows and a package of holiday offerings for 2007.
