CMG Brings African Features to AFM

Cinema Management Group is bringing the African 3D animated feature films Khumba and Zambezia to the American Film Market in Santa Monica.

Both films are being made by Triggerfish Studios in Capetown, South Africa.

Zambezia is the story of a young falcon who is forced to seek out a bird sanctuary in Africa after his father is captured. Directed by Wayne Thronley, the film is produced by Stuart Forrest, Mike Buckland and Anthony Silverston with Greg and Claire Becker, Edward Noeltner, Peter Graham and Steven Hayes as executive producers. The cast includes Jeremy Suarez, Phil LaMarr, Jim Cummings and Jennifer Lewis and is due for release in June.

Khumba is about a young zebra ostracized from his herd who goes on a journey of discovery. It is directed by Anthony Silverston and produced by Stuart Forrest. Khumba is in production with a June 2012 release date scheduled.

CMG will present clips of the film to potential buyers at the American Film Market, which will be held Nov. 3-10 at the Loews Hotel in Santa Monica.
