The Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art in New York City will present Nov. 4 a panel discussion and launch party for Directing Animation, a new book by David B. Levy.
Levy is an award-winning director whose credits include Blue’s Clues, Blue’s Room, Sesame Workshop’s Pinky Dinky Doo, the Adult Swim series Assy McGee and multiple short films and pilot episodes.
The panel will feature Levy discussing the job of directing animation with animators Dave Palmer, Dan Meth and Bill Plympton. A Q&A and book signing will follow.
Admission is $5; free for MoCCA members. The event will be held at the museum, which is located at 594 Broadway, Suite 401, New York City.
