Kids’ entertainment specialist CAKE has been appointed worldwide distributor for hit animated gross-out comedy Fleabag Monkeyface (52 x 11, kids 7-12) which will be available at the MIPTV market next month. CAKE can be found at stand R30.18 and will also be offering Let’s Go Pocoyo, Plankton Invasion and Total Drama: Revenge of the Island.
Fleabag Monkeyface, co-produced by Sparky Animation, Impossible Kids, Editude Pictures and Walker Productions and based on characters created by award-winning writers duo Knife and Packer, has been a top performer on its parent channel CITV since launching last December. The fast-paced comedy follows the adventures of Fleabag Monkeyface–a half-monkey, half-boy—and his creators Gene and Gerald. Each episode shows the trio presenting the latest episode of their hit TV series “Gross Out TV” in which they reveal their latest disgusting discoveries—all the while evading the plots of the evil Dr. Dirk Spamflex and his sidekick Deathbeak.
