The fourth annual AniMazSpot Festival, which focuses on animated shorts projects and their creators, will take place September 10-16. Three nomination screenings will be held at the Woodbury theater in Burbank on the last three week nights of the festival. UPA Pictures will be the focus of the Saturday programs held at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. In addition, five events are scheduled for the last day, Sunday the 16th, at Woodbury, ending with the 2012 Awards Ceremony and screening of the winning shorts.
The AniMazSpot Festival is founded and directed by animation veteran Tee Bosustow. The official festival t-shirt this year takes its title from the afternoon event at the Alex. (The legendary June Foray, voice of Rocky Squirrel, Witch Hazel, and countless others, is seen here modeling her t-shirt with Festival Director, Tee Bosustow.) It can be ordered on the AniMazSpot website. All proceeds go to their non-profit mission.
