‘Hobbit’ Tops Saturn Award Nominees List

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films has revealed the list of nominees for the 39th annual Saturn Awards, with Peter Jackson’s vfx blockbuster The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey garnering the most nods with nine nominations. Other top contenders are Ang Lee’s Life of Pi and Sam Mendes’ Skyfall. In the TV category, Fringe, The Walking Dead and Revolution top the lists. The Saturn Awards will take place in June with exact date and location to be announced; below is a select listing of the key vfx and animation feature film categories.
