Available in the Apple App Store now, Rock Bandits is a side-scrolling action platformer starring Penn Ward’s hit toon creations –and fans of all ages can download it to their iPhone or iPad for $1.99.
The game story finds Finn and Jake on a mission to rescue Marceline the Vampire Queen’s fans. Over 20 levels, players will chase the Ice King and his band across the Land of Ooo trying to get back Marceline’s kidnapped audience in a series of battles through the Dark Forest, Lumpy Space, Bad Lands and the Ice Kingdom–using Finn’s sword and Jake’s stretch powers to beat some respect into Ice King, Tree Witch, Ash and the Lemongrabs. Players can also customize their swords for maximum power by collecting random junk for Blink Blacksmith to win his services.
Plus, the game includes an original digital comic by Adventure Time comic series writer Ryan North (Dinosaur Comics) and artist Shelli Paroline. Versions are available for iPhone 4, 4s and 5; iPad 2, 3, and 4; iPad Mini; and iPod Touch 4 and 5.
