Chucky Will Be Back on October 8

Just in time for Halloween, everyone’s favorite devil doll will be making a comeback. Universal will release Curse of Chucky, the sixth film in the popular horror franchise on DVD/Blu-ray on October 8. Timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of writer/director Don Mancini’s thriller, the new movie is produced by David Kirschner and features the inimitable Brad Dourif as the voice of the demonic doll, Brad’s daughter Fiona Dourif as the lead, A Martinez and Danielle Bisutti.

The Blu-Ray Combo Pack allows fans to view Curse of Chucky on the platform of their choice. It includes a Blu-Ray disc, a DVD, and Digital including Ultraviolet. Additionally, Chucky: The Complete Collection Limited Edition is also available on Blu-ray and DVD on October 8, 2013 in the U.S. For the first time ever, Chucky fans can experience all six movies in one awesome set, including Child’s Play, Child’s Play 2, Child’s Play 3, Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky and Curse of Chucky.

The special Blu-ray release includes a featurette titled Living Doll: Bringing Chucky to Life, which focuses on the award-winning work of animatronics company Alteria and how they brought Chucky to life; a look at the life and times of the possessed doll called Voodoo Doll: The Chucky Legacy, storyboard comparisons, deleted scenes, gag reel, a doc about the making of the new movie, and feature commentary by writer/director Don Mancini, puppeteer Tony Gardner and star Fiona Dourif.
