Fifteen European companies will share the spotlight at the upcoming Cartoon Tributes, whose awards recognize broadcasters, investors and distributor; and producers that have contributed to the development of TV animation.
With five and four finalists respectively, France and the United Kingdom lead the nominations, followed by Germany and Belgium with two nominees each. The list of finalists for the three categories also includes companies from Italy and Lithuania.
The winners will be selected by 850 animation professionals from 33 countries attending Cartoon Forum 2013, the pitching and co-production event for animated TV series that is taking place Sept. 17-20 in Toulouse, France.

The 24th edition of Cartoon Forum will present 68 new animated series projects that will be pitched to investors and broadcasters with the aim of accelerating financing and boosting distribution both within and beyond the European Union.
