‘Cloudbabies’ Soar to Germany

Following a successful tour of the MIPCOM market in Cannes, Hoho Rights has announced a key sale for its CG animated preschool property, Cloudbabies (52 x 10), which will be floating off to Germany to air on ARD and ZDF’s children’s channel KIKA in 2014.

Created by BAFTA and International Emmy award winner Bridget Appleby, Cloudbabies debuted on CBeebies in the U.K. in 2012 and has since found a number of new homes around the world, including ABC (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand), Hop! (Israel), S4C (Wales), PTS (Taiwan) and MiniMini (Poland).

Cloudbabies stars four cute, childlike character who are tasked with looking after the sky and their Sky Friends: Sun, Moon, Rainbow, Fuffa Cloud and Little Star. They live together with a mischievous imp named Bobo White in a house on a big, fluffy cloud. Every morning they hop on their Skyhorsies and begin the day’s work.
