‘Family Guy’ Actors Score a Heavy Pay Raise

Here’s a news flash: Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis and Mike Henry—who provide the voices for Lois Griffin, Chris Griffin, Meg Griffin and Cleveland Brown on Family Guy are getting even richer! According to a story in The Hollywood Reporter today, the for lead voice actors of Fox’s Sunday night toon will be getting a big raise from their studio bosses.

According to unnamed sources, the four thesps will be paid somewhere between $175,000 and $225,000 each per episode for at least two more seasons – and as many as five seasons of the series. The deal will go into effect with the 12th season currently in production, which is expected to roll out in the fall of 2014. Of course, show creator Seth MacFarlane, who does the voice of Peter Griffin, evil baby Stewie and martini-loving pooch Brian, will negotiate separately because his deal has several other component.s

Part of Fox’s Animation Domination Sunday night slate, Family Guy can still bring in around $250,000 per 30-second spot during primetime. While it’s no longer one of the top 10 shows, it caters to the younger-skewing male audience to Fox, averaging a 3.3 rating among adults 18-49 in the latest live-plus-7 returns and outranking all other Fox toons. The show also performs very well in syndication on TBS and Adult Swim.
