‘Room on the Broom,’ ‘Adventure Time’ Win BAFTAs

BBC’s acclaimed TV special Room on the Broom, Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time and BBC/Aarmdan’s Timmy Time were among the top TV winners at last night’s British Academy of Film and TV Arts (BAFTA) Children’s Awards. Room on the Broom won the Best Animated honor, while Adventure Time received the Best International TV prize, and Timmy Time won for Best Preschool Animation.

On the feature side, Fox’s 2002 pic Life of Pi, Universal/Illumination’s Despicable Me 2 won the Best Children’s Feature and Kids’ Vote Feature Film respectively.
