Acclaimed independent Irish studio Cartoon Saloon will be launching their new film art book Designing The Secret of Kells at San Diego Comic-Con, as well as presenting never-before-seen clips from their highly anticipated new feature Song of the Sea, which will be released by GKIDS in North America later this year. The book will also be available through Cartoon Saloon’s online store (shop.cartoonsaloon.ie) and from Stuart Ng Books (stuartngbooks.com).
A book signings for Designing The Secret of Kells will be held at the Stuart Ng Books booth (#5012) from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday & Saturday, and 6-7 p.m. on Friday. The sneak peek panel for Song of the Sea will be held on Friday. Cartoon Saloon will also head northward for a signing at The Animation Guild in Burbank on Monday, July 28 (6-9 p.m.), open to the public, as well as an ASIFA members-only presentation and signing on Tuesday.
