DWA Presents ‘Makers’ Screening for WIA Members

DreamWorks Animation has issued an invitation to members of Women in Animation (WIA) for a special, advance screening of the documentary Makers: Women in Hollywood Tuesday, October 7 at 7 p.m. at DreamWorks’ Campanile Theater in Glendale, CA. The film is set to have its on-air debut on PBS later that night.

Produced and directed by Linda Goldstein Knowlton and produced by Rory Kennedy, Women in Hollywood showcases the world of women in show business, from the earliest pioneers to present-day players as they influence the next wave of entertainment. Participating in the documentary are Jane Fonda, Shonda Rhimes, Linda Woolverton, Lena Dunham and Glenn Close. The film is narrated by Julia Roberts.

Following the screening, there will be a panel with Linda Woolverton, Dyllan McGee and Margie Cohn. This event is only open to WIA members.
