One Screen Announces Three Animation Winners

The One Screen Film Festival organizers One Club have announced the 2015 award winners for the global film and advertising industry competition, including three top level animated shorts. Winners were honored at the Sunshine Cinema in New York City.

In the Animation category, the winners were A Tale of Momentum & Inertia by House Special, A Girl Named Elastika directed by Guillaume Blanchet, and NYOD “Long Live New York” by Y&R New York — accepted by Josh Schikdkraut, Miranda Gerlock-Dean, Sarah Haroldson and Glen Jacobs. The winning shorts can be viewed at onescreen.org/winners.

Additional winners were announced for the Narrative, Documentary, Music Video, Branded Content and other categories. The honors were decided by a jury of filmmakers including hip-hop legend and producer RZA, Oscar-winning short film director Joachim Back, Stephanie Riggs — who produced the first ever VR film release via Oculus Rift — and previous One Screen Best of Show winner Martin Rosete.
