Breakthrough Entertainment has appointed Craig McGillivray as Vice President, Distribution. Based in the company’s Toronto headquarters, McGillivray will serve in a senior-level role in both international sales as well as programming acquisitions.
McGillivray joins Breakthrough from international producer/distributor Peacock Alley Entertainment, where he held the same title. Previously, he was a Territory Manager at DHX Media, handling program sales for Asia, Australia, Latin America and Canada. Prior to DHX, McGillivray had been with Breakthrough as a sales executive, handling Eastern and Central Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America and Canada. The University of Western Ontario grad began his career at Ironstar Communications, a TV programming sales and distribution company founded by his father, Derek.
