Portland, Oregon animated content production studio HouseSpecial (formerly LAIKA/house) has entered a new partnership with Kelly Salmon, owner of indie New York-based firm Hunt & Gather, for Northeast representation of all its animated content. The announcement was made by HouseSpecial president Lourri Hammack.
Before setting up Hunt & Gather, Salmon got her start in assistant director and production manager positions with The Artists Company, Hungry Man, Believe and Curious Pictures. She moved into sales when offered the opportunity to work with Jennifer Warren and with production houses Giraldi and IDENTITY. Salmon most recently served as head of sales at BlueRock editorial house in New York.
