Entertainment distributor Portfolio Entertainment has hired on Jonathan Abraham as Director of International Sales and Acquisitions, effective immediately.
Abraham is now responsible for selling Portfolio’s original programs internationally and guiding the strategic growth of the company’s distribution division. Abraham is also tasked with acquiring third-party content for Portfolio’s distribution catalog of kids, factual and lifestyle programming. He will be working out of the company’s offices in Toronto and reporting directly to CEO and Co-founder Joy Rosen.
Abraham joins Portfolio from international toy company Zuru Ltd., where he served as International Sales and Marketing Manager in Hong Kong. Prior to this, he was an account manager at Brunico Communications and has previously held positions at 9 Story Entertainment, Spin Master and Shaw Media.
