Viacom International Media Networks announces a number of international broadcast deals for Nickelodeon series, including freshman cartoon Pig Goat Banana Cricket.
In Spain, Antena 3 opted for Pig Goat Banana Cricket — an original 2D series created by comics team Dave Cooper and Johnny Ryan — as well as Harvey Beaks from C.H. Greenblatt (Chowder) and live-action series Bella & the Bulldogs.
Preschool animated series PAW Patrol was snapped up by TV Cultura in Brazil (season 2), RTS in Switzerland (season 2), Channel Balapan in Kazakhstan (seasons 2 & 3), Able Systems in Adria region countries (season 1) and Canal Panda/Dreamia in Portugal (season 2).
Canal Panda also took on seasons 1 & 2 of preschool toon Blaze and the Monster Machines to broadcast this spring. The show’s first season is also heading to Gulli in France, Clan/TVE in Spain and TV Cultura in Brazil. Finally, girl-targeted CG series Shimmer and Shine is also joining the TV Cultura and Canal Panda line-ups.
