Respected localization company BTI Studios has announced it will this year open a new dubbing facility in Paris in order to serve the French-speaking market. BTI provides dubbing, subtitling and access services, and the new studios will allow the company to better serve the rapidly growing French entertainment market.
BTI’s Paris facility is expected to be fully operational in October, equipped with recording studios and mixing and editing suites with state-of-the-art technology.
French dubbing industry veteran Thierry Baudry will run the studio; his 25-plus years of experience include serving as Chief of Dubbing Operations Worldwide at Mediadub International. He currently runs BTI’s French projects with his team and partner studios — this department will move to the new facility.
“I know only too well the passion French audiences have for their language and how appreciative they are of dubbing that respects that passion,” said Baudry. “These new studios will help BTI to ensure it remains a leading player in producing high quality French-language dubbing.”
