Aadarsh Pvt. Ltd., the company behind the Purple Turtle brand, has acquired a stake in VawWorld Animation Studio — a CG production house with clients in the US, UK, Japan and Korea, delivering animation for TV series, games, feature films, et al.
This partnership will help Aadarsh ensure quality animated content for its flagship IP. “We wanted full control of the creative part,” said Aadarsh’s Creative Director, Swati Rajoria, “and only when we are working in very close association we can achieve this.”
The first 26 x 11 season of the Purple Turtle animated series is set for delivery at the end of 2017, with a second season to follow. Based on the books (published in more than 25 countries), the show’s creative team includes three Emmy Award winning writers: Carter Crocker, Dev Ross and Karl Geurs.
