The 2016 Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) is taking a new approach to its annual conference — taking place December 7-9 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Organizers are putting a significant emphasis on strategy and investment, with the help of high-profile industry guests, as well as on the new horizons of virtual reality.

ATF’s C-Level Summit that focuses on digital endeavors will host speakers from both conventional media giants and new media innovators. Execs from major Southeast Asia players including Winston Damarillo (Chief Strategy Officer, PLDT Group) and Prashant Gokarn (Chief New Business & Innovation Officer, PT Indosat) will discuss OTT offerings, infrastructure and mobile partnerships.
On the content side, Krishnan Rajagopalan (co-Founder/CCO, Hooq Group), Kazufumi Nagasawa (CCOr, Hulu Japan), Chris Erwin (COO, Big Frame) and Joanne Waage (SVP Partnerships & Programming, Viki Inc.) will address ROI issues. Clifton Dawson (Founder/CEO, Greenlight VR) will be joined by other execs to discuss multi screen strategy.
Virtual reality will have a major presence at this year’s event as a new but vital piece of the industry puzzle. On the market floor, innovation and creativity will be the order of the day with transmedia presentations in the VR Experiential Zone.
The Zone will be a seminar/workshop session, where experts in this dynamic field discuss their most forward-looking productions. Participating players will include Okio Studio, Honkytonk, Innerspace VR, Silex Films, Dailymotion and AGAT Films.
