New ‘DuckTales’ Cast Flocks Together for Theme Song Singalong!

It’s not pony tails or cotton tails, no — it’s DuckTales! The Emmy Award-winning ‘80s cartoon is coming back to TV next summer in an all-new animated series on Disney XD, and a top-billed voice cast is getting quacking in the recording booth to bring the iconic characters to life.

The key talent roster features Danny Pudi (Huey), Ben Schwartz (Dewey), Bobby Moynihan (Louie), Kate Micucci (Webby Vanderquack), Toks Olagundoye (Mrs. Beakley), Beck Bennett (Launchpad McQuack), and David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck. You can put faces to the voices with a fun sing-along video below, just released by Disney XD, as these fine feathered thespians recreate the original DuckTales theme song.

Also slated to drop in on Duckburg in the new series are classic characters including Donald Duck, Flintheart Glomgold, Gyro Gearloose, Duckworth, Gizmoduck, Magica DeSpell, Gladstone Gander, and Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys.

The new DuckTales is produced by Disney Television Animation. Annie Award nominee Matt Youngberg (Ben 10: Omniverse) is executive producer. The story editor and co-producer is Francisco Angones (Wander Over Yonder) and the art director is Sean Jimenez (Gravity Falls).
