European kids’ content powerhouse Rainbow announces the second season of its animated fairytale remix Regal Academy will premiere Sunday, November 5 at 1:30 p.m. ET/PT on Nick Jr. in the US. The new adventures will begin rolling out on Nickelodeon platforms worldwide in 2018.
Regal Academy puts a modern and comedic twist to beloved fairytales as it follows the adventures of Rose Cinderella, the granddaughter of Cinderella, and her schoolmates — Hawk SnowWhite, Travis Beast, Joy LeFrog, Astoria Rapunzel and LingLing Iron Fan — at a fabled school for famous fairytale dynasties.
In the new season, Rose and her friends return from summer holidays and ready to take on new and exciting adventures in Fairytale Land. With the help of new magical items and funny pumpkin creatures called the PomPoms, the heroes will undertake new missions and face a mysterious student named Kira, and the evil Snow Queen who wants to trap them all in her snow globes.
