‘Coco’ Crosses Over to Disc & Digital Next Month

Pixar Animation’s Golden Globe Award-winning feature Coco is coming home next month, with Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment bringing the magic of Mexican traditions to Digital HD / 4K Ultra HD and Movies Anywhere on February 13, followed by 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and On-Demand on Feb. 27. In addition to the critically lauded hit film from director Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3) and co-director Adrian Molina (story artist, Monsters University), the home release expands the fantastical journey with fresh and fascinating bonus material.

In Coco, Pixar’s 19th feature film, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt)—despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Héctor (Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

The voice cast also features Renée Victor, Jaime Camil, Lombardo Boyar, Ana Ofelia Murguía, Sofía Espinosa, Luis Valdez, Alanna Ubach, Alfonso Arau, Herbert Siguenza, Gabriel Iglesias, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Selene Luna and Edward James Olmos, with Carla Medina, Dyana Ortelli, Blanca Araceli, Salvador Reyes, Cheech Marin, Octavio Solis and John Ratzenberger.
