Trailer: ‘OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes’ Gets Jan. 23 Release Date

Cartoon Network has announced the release date for OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes as January 23, when the colorful toon tie-in will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC (Steam) in the Americas and Europe. A spankin’ new game play trailer released Thursday shows off the title’s mix of side-scrolling brawler action and adventure game elements, as well as setting up the original storyline developed by Capybara Games with OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes series creator Ian Jones-Quartey.

In the game, the evil Lord Boxman has reset the card levels of every hero in Lakewood Plaza Turbo mall, and it’s up to young K.O. to help his friends, level up special ability POW cards, and lay the smack down on Boxman’s robot army. Published by Cartoon Network Games, Let’s Play Heroes is rated E10+ for North America and PEGI 7 for Europe.

The OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes animated series was recently re-upped for a second season by Cartoon Network. Episodes are available on demand via the Cartoon Network app for iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV, Roku and Xbox One.
