Discovery Family will be debuting an ultra adorable new series this spring when Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own moves in on Saturday, April 14 at 12 noon/11c. Produced by Hasbro’s Allspark Animation under EP Stephen Davis, the 52 x 11 min. show will premiere with two back-to-back episodes. In addition to airing on TV, new episodes will stream live on Discovery Family GO and will be available on-demand the following day.
Inspired by the hit 2012 toon Littlest Pet Shop, the new series reveals an amazing new pet-centric world. Pets are transported to the Littlest Pet Shop in Paw-Tucket via a magical portal between the human and pet world. Once they arrive, pets of all descriptions can celebrate who they are and experience all sorts of fun — whether it’s enjoying the ski slopes run by St. Bernards, hanging out at “Pet-Ultimate” customized apartments, or relaxing at the Shake ‘n’ Dry beauty salon, where cats walk on your back (claws optional, we assume).
A World of Our Own follows the adventures of six pals in this pet utopia: Roxie, a lovable, supremely optimistic Boston Terrier; Jade, a Bombay short-hair with tons of catitude; Trip, a sweet-spirited hamster who’s a macho goofball; Quincy, an anxiety-prone, risk-averse fainting pygmy goat; Edie, a parakeet whose personality is a reflection of the 14-year-old drama-queen girl she lives with; and Bev, a cheerful, positive and supportive box turtle who always seeks to be the best Bev she can be!
In the back-to-back season premiere episodes “A Pet’s Best Friend Is…” and “Pet, Peeved,” Roxie lands the dream gig of house sitting for mega pop-star Savannah, only to be bombarded by Paw-Tucket’s snobbiest pets. Jade warns Roxie that the pets are only using her to have a party, but Roxie disregards the warning and has to learn the hard way whether or not Jade is correct. Later, when their “odd couple” differences become a problem, Roxie becomes determined to be a better roommate.

Excuse me, isn’t Allspark Animation supposed to be the feature animation division of Hasbro? Is Hasbro Studios rebranding into Allspark or something?
prefer the 2nd show, this is like the 90s show meets My Little Pony Tales?
