North America’s premiere toon fest is now open to submissions for the categories of Animated Feature, Independent Shorts (Narrative, Non-Narrative), Student Animation, Commissioned Animation (commercials, titles, IDs, and adult series episodes), Short Preschool Animation, Short Animation for Young Audiences, and Immersive Works. Deadline is May 25, 2018.
Organizers have also revealed that this year’s Honorary President is former Holland Animation Film Festival head Gerben Schermer. “Since we first met in 1996, Gerben Schermer has been a guiding influence on my own curatorial philosophy at the Ottawa International Animation Festival,” said OIAF Artistic Director Chris Robinson.
