‘DuckTales’ to Hatch Third Season; S2 Premieres Oct. 20

Disney Channel has ordered a third season of the Emmy-nominated series DuckTales, ahead of its season 2 premiere on Saturday, October 20 at 7:30 a.m. ET/PT, on Disney Channel, DisneyNOW and Disney Channel VOD. The third season pick-up was revealed in a video featuring Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan — the voices of Huey, Dewey and Louie, respectively.

The 2D comedy-adventure chronicles the high-flying adventures of Duckburg’s most famous trillionaire, Scrooge McDuck (voiced by David Tennant); his mischief-making triplet grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie; temperamental nephew Donald Duck (Disney Legend Tony Anselmo) and the trusted McDuck Manor team: big-hearted, fearless chauffeur/pilot Launchpad McQuack (Beck Bennett); no-nonsense housekeeper Mrs. Beakley (Toks Olagundoye); and Mrs. Beakley’s granddaughter, Webby Vanderquack (Kate Micucci), resident adventurer and the triplet’s newfound fierce friend.

Exec produced by Emmy nominee Matt Youngberg (Ben 10: Omniverse), with Emmy nominee Francisco Angones (Wander Over Yonder) as co-producer and story editor, and Sean Jimenez (Gravity Falls) as art director. DuckTales is a Disney Television Animation production.
