DreamWorks Animation is getting ready to start 2019 with lots of laughter as season 2 of The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle premieres January 11 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
The world-famous moose and flying squirrel created by Jay Ward Productions return for spanking new 2D cartoon capers in the series, which is executive produced by Scott Fellows (Johnny Test, Big Time Rush). The show follows the two goofball best friends as they routinely wind up in harrowing situations — but always find a way to save the day. The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle is nominated for three Annie Awards in the TV/Broadcast (two for Character Design and one for Production Design).
In the first arc of S2, “Almost Famoose” has Rocky & Bullwinkle go viral as famous rock stars. Then, they hatch lofty treasure hunting plans in “The Legends of the Power Gems” arc. Finally, the duo embarks on their biggest adventure yet as “Amazamoose and Squirrel Wonder!” All along the way, Rocky and Bullwinkle’s gambols intersect with Fearless Leader’s sinister plans to take over the world, setting the heroes on a collision course with notorious super spies Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale.
Joining voice stars Tara Strong (Rocky), Brad Norman (Bullwinkle), Rachel Butera (Natasha), Ben Diskin (Boris) and Piotr Michael (Fearless Leader) in the new 13-episode season are special voice guests Mark Hamill, Mario Lopez, Weird Al Yankovic and Lil Rel Howery.
