Fans of DreamWorks Animation’s popular Boss Baby sequel can enjoy The Boss Baby: Family Business on Digital on August 31. It will available two weeks later (on Sept. 14on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD as well. The release will also include an all-new short titled Precious Templeton: A Pony Tale. In this original short, the Templeton’s fancy miniature pony with an attitude, Precious, enters the Perfect Pony Pageant in hopes of winning top prize. Just as the winner is about to be announced, the crown jewels are stolen.
Directed by DreamWorks veteran Tom McGrath, The Boss Baby: Family Business follows the original film by bringing back main characters Ted (Alec Baldwin) and Tim (James Marsden) as they meet a new boss baby in Tim’s daughter, Tina (Amy Sedaris). In the sequel, which was released on July 2nd Templeton brothers—Tim and his Boss Baby little bro Ted—have become adults and drifted away from each other. Enter new boss baby Tina with a cutting-edge approach and can-do attitude that is determined to bring them together again… and inspire a new family business. “The voice cast includes the likes of Alec Baldwin, James Marsden, Amy Sedaris, Ariana Greenblatt, Jeff Goldblum, and Eva Longoria. To date, the movie has grossed over $92.455 million worldwide.
