NYICFF Unveils 25th Edition Awards Finalists

The 25th New York International Children’s Film Festival has unveiled the finalists for the 2023 Festival Awards. These were determined by audience ballots, and will be winnowed down to winners to be announced Wednesday, March 29.

Categories with animated nominees are:

AUDIENCE AWARD, AGES 3+

  • Konigiri-Kun Parasol – Mari Miyazawa (Japan)
  • Sleepy – Rich Webber (U.K.)
  • The Smeds and the Smoos – Daniel Snaddon & Samantha Cutler (U.K.)

 

AUDIENCE AWARD, AGES 8+

  • Architect A – Jonghoon Lee (Korea)
  • An Ostrich Told Me the World Is Fake and I Think I Believe It – Lachlan Pendragon (Australia)
