Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee Missy Elliott is jumping into a guest star role on Cartoon Network’s critically-acclaimed hit series, Craig of the Creek.
Premiering Monday, April 3 at 5 p.m. ET/PT, in the episode “The Jump Off,” Craig, Cannonball, Sparkle Cadet and Diane find themselves wrapped up in a Double Dutch tournament. Looking for some pointers, the group turns to Craig’s mom, Nicole, who inspires them with a story about her own Double Dutch rivalry with a girl named Carla Frazier (voiced by Missy Elliott) at regionals.

Created and executive produced by Matt Burnett and Ben Levin, Craig of the Creek follows the precocious Craig and his best friends Kelsey and J.P., as they transform everyday afternoons into extraordinary adventures through imaginative play at the neighborhood creek. Heading into its fifth season, the show will delve deeper into the endless world of the Creek as Craig embarks on more journeys with friends new and old, finding adventure, mystery and fun around every bend.
A preschool spin-off series, Jessica’s Big Little World, as well as Craig of the Creek: The Movie are due for release this year.
