Watch: Disney Channel Celebrates 40 Years with Character-Filled Compilation

Disney Channel has unveiled a new brand spot that commemorates and celebrates 40 years of the beloved content brand for kids, tweens and teens. The spot, which made its debut on Good Morning America on Monday, takes fans on a nostalgic tour through some of the most memorable on-screen moments from Disney Channel’s history.

With 90-, 60- and 30-second versions, the spot is now airing across Disney linear and digital platforms, including Disney Channel, Disney Junior and DisneyXD, and will roll out across national broadcast and in cinemas on July 14.

“We hear often from parents who say they feel like they grew up alongside our characters, and now have the tremendous joy of watching their own children do the same,” said Pamela Levine, Head of Marketing, Disney Branded Television and National Geographic. “Having that kind of impact is such an honor, and so as we thought about how to celebrate Disney Channel’s 40th, it was important to us that we give thanks to our loyal fans for making us a part of their lives.”

The spot features a wide range of unforgettable moments from across Disney Channel’s 40-year history — from live-action series and movies to animated hits like Phineas and Ferb, Bluey, Mickey Mouse Funhouse, Big City Greens, Kim Possible, Gravity Falls, Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder and Elena of Avalor, to name a few — capturing the essence of Disney Channel and Disney Junior’s enduring place in the hearts of young audiences everywhere.

On social media, Disney Channel’s official Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and Facebook accounts are publishing special anniversary content, with fans encouraged to share their favorite Disney Channel memory or moment using the hashtag #MyDisneyChannel.
