Coty Galloway’s ‘Atlantis Rocks’ Casts Phil LaMarr, Tara Strong & Vico Ortiz

Animation voice-over veterans Phil LaMarr (Futurama, Kung Fu Panda 4) and Tara Strong (Teen Titans Go!, Loki) and nonbinary actor, drag king and activist Vico Ortiz (Our Flag Means Death, Transparent) have joined the cast for Atlantis Rocks, a new animated comedy series created by actor-producer Coty Galloway. The project was initially funded via Kickstarter, completed by private financing.

The newly announced voices join Galloway, Olan Rogers, creator of Final Space (for which Galloway voiced Avocato), Dan Brumm (Bluey, Combat Wombat), Sophia Thomas, Valory Pierce, Bailey Galloway and Da’Jonte Phillips.

Atlantis Rocks is a satirical comedy set the fictional underwater town of Los Sandeles, where disgruntled sanitation worker Fleming (Galloway) decides to clean up his dump of a life after a series of disasters. LaMarr plays Earl, a rambling yet loveable catfish whose inscrutable words of wisdom eventually come to light. Strong voices Cora, an evolved dolphin (a.k.a. Dolphinian) who is smart, witty and independent. Ortiz is Ben, a nervous and analytical albacore tuna.

The project’s core creative team also includes Swedish animator Daniel Arruda Massa and composer Davis Harwell.
