Québec-based prodco PVP Media (Trulli Tales, Belle and Sebastian) has launched its new distribution arm, PVP Distribution, led by Johanna Veysset, Head of Distribution & Acquisitions. The shingle is founded by by industry veterans François Trudel and Vincent Leroux.
PVP Distribution specializes in the global distribution of documentaries and children’s content. Its catalog consists of programs produced by PVP Media, its affiliated production company, as well as from other renowned producers based in Canada. The slate currently includes PVP titles including Bell and Sebastian, Trulli Tales, Goose and Cloud, Cosmo the Dodo and more.
PVP Distribution plans to expand its offering by acquiring programs with strong international potential from both Canadian and international partners.
Veysset will be attending the MIFA animation market in Annecy and Sunny Side of the Doc in La Rochelle.
PVP was supported by the Québecor Fund in establishing the new company, which has also been recognized by the Canada Media Fund as an eligible distributor.
