Netflix Toons Up Back-to-School Season with ‘Bad Guys’ Special, New Project Pics and Premiere Dates

As families prepare to get back into the school year grind, Netflix is offering a colorful curriculum of new and returning animated movies and series for all audiences to start the season off right!

This fall harvest will bring in series premieres for Mighty MonsterWheelies, Barbie Mysteries: The Great Horse Chase, Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld and Our Oceans, joining a robust line up of returning fan favorites like Gabby’s Dollhouse, Hot Wheels Let’s Race and Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. The new DreamWorks special The Bad Guys: Haunted Heist will get fans in the Halloween spirit. Families can also look forward to films that viewers of all ages can enjoy like Spellbound, That Christmas and Migration.

Based on the 2022 DreamWorks Animation feature film The Bad Guys, (adapted from the book by Aaron Blabey) about a crew of animal criminals trying to go “good.” Netflix previously released the Christmas special The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday.

With the help of her weapons expert great-aunt and a millennia-old jiangshi (Chinese hopping vampire), Jentry must now fight an entire underworld’s worth of monsters while balancing the horrors of high school.
