Trailer: Toei & Fathom Bring ‘Dragon Ball DAIMA’ Dub Premiere to U.S. Theaters

On the heels of news of the series’ October 11 subtitled broadcast debut, Toei Animation and Fathom Events today revealed plans to bring the world dub premiere of Dragon Ball DAIMA to U.S. theaters this November. This three-day, limited theatrical event offers U.S. Dragon Ball fans the exclusive opportunity to be among the first in the world to watch the new English dub, an advance sneak-peek only in theaters.

The Dragon Ball DAIMA World English Dub Premiere theatrical release features the first three episodes of the series and will be screened on November 10, 11 & 12 in hundreds of theaters across the U.S. As part of today’s announcement, Toei Animation released the first-ever English dub trailer for Dragon Ball DAIMA to  (watch below).

Tickets will be available for purchase starting October 11 at both Fathom Events and participating theater box offices. A complete list of theater locations will be available on the Fathom Events website (participating theaters are subject to change).

Dragon Ball DAIMA was first revealed on October 12, 2023 to a capacity audience during the Dragon Ball Special Panel at New York Comic Con and commemorates the 40th anniversary of the Dragon Ball manga created by Akira Toriyama that launched in 1984 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump — amassing a record 260 million copies sold worldwide and counting.

Produced by Toei Animation, the Dragon Ball anime franchise has achieved tremendous global success — taking its place in mainstream pop culture and boasting a multi-generational fan base. With the addition of Dragon Ball DAIMA, the franchise now spans six episodic series, including Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Z Kai and Dragon Ball Super, as well as 21 feature films as well as numerous mobile and video games, trading card game and an ever-expanding catalog of licensed merchandise and location-based entertainment.
