Free ad-supported streaming service Tubi is adding a slew of Warner Bros. Animation titles to its lineup, including the three-time Emmy-nominated revival series The Looney Tunes Show. THe newly confirmed additions will arrive April 1 (no foolin’!)
The Looney Tunes Show (2011-2013) originally aired on Cartoon Network, and was developed for television by WBA exec Sam Register, Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone. Featuring the voices of Jeff Bergman, Bob Bergen, Maurice LaMarche, Jim Cummings, Fred Armisen, Kristen Wiig, Billy West, Grey DeLisle, Eric Bauza and more, the show adapted the classic Looney Tunes characters to a sitcom format, centering on Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck’s daily interactions with their fellow cartoon suburbanites.
Additionally, Tubi will welcome a slew of Scooby-Doo! adventures, including Scooby-Doo! And the Spooky Scarecrow (2013), Scooby-Doo! Ghastly Goals! (2014) and Scooby-Doo! Mecha Mutt Menace (2013) , plus another Looney Tunes title: The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries (1995-2002).
Tubi says it is committed to preserving a place for vintage animated content for streaming audiences of all ages. The platform is already home to an archive of cartoon classics, including The Flintstones, Archie’s Weird Mysteries and Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?, to name a few.
