Suspicious Prods.’s new animated web comedy Life According to Dinosaurs has debuted on 4mation (www.4mations.tv), the new video-sharing toon channel recently launched by U.K. public broadcaster Channel 4 in association with Aardman Animations and Lupus Films (more info here: https://www.beta.animationmagazine.net/article/8946. Dinosaurs is the first production for Edinburgh, Scotland-based Suspicious. According to the stidio, it is also the first piece commissioned for 4mations.
Life According to Dinosaurs is described as The Office meets Jurassic Park. Steve Green and Dave Yellow are two twenty-something dinosaurs who do their best to get by in the modern world. In every episode, they explain a new issue in prehistoric style, bringing their unique dinosaur perspective to everyday experiences. The property is created by Andy Fielding (creator of the web hit The Imp) and animation producer Mad’vi Dailly. A full series is in development.
In the episode currently available on 4Mations, ‘Facebook According to Dinosaurs,’ Dave asks pal Steve to explain the ins and outs of this new internet thing known as Facebook. They mooch around the office, grapple with the idea and eat a couple of people.
