Ireland’s Kavaleer Productions has added veteran producer Jackie Leonard to build its commercial department and manage its animation productions.
Leonard comes to Kavaleer with more than 14 years of experience and was previously a commercials producer for Brown Bag Films for more than 8 years. Among her credits: Olivia, the Oscar-nominated short film Granny O’Grimm and Give Up Yer Aul Sins.
Her extensive experience producing commercials has generated a portfolio of credits that includes spots for The Lotto, Vodafone, Post Bank, Fig Rolls, Guinness, Berocca and Coca-Cola.
“Having worked in animation for over ten years now I’d have to say I am hooked and love all things animated,” Leonard said in a statement. “Animation takes me into other worlds and it makes me laugh, which is a precious commodity at the moment! I am so excited to have joined the team at Kavaleer Productions having admired their work for so long. Working on everything from TV and web animations, I will also be involved in developing a number of fun apps for clients – it’s an exciting time!”
