Cartoon Network Games has partnered up with Pixel Press to bring a cool new Adventure Time title to mobile devices: Game Wizard. Available through the App Store, Google Play and Amazon for $4.99, the innovative game encourages players to draw their own game design with pencil and paper, which can then be imported and played thanks to Pixel Press capture technology. Gamers can also share their levels with friends and publish them online for other players.
User-generated levels are incorporated into a story in which Finn and Jake happen upon a magical sketchbook (property of the mysterious Doodle Wizard) which brings anything they draw in it to life — but a nefarious presence seems to be lurking in its pages. The game also features other favorite Land of Ooo residents reimagined as pencil drawings. Cartoon Network’s popular characters and Pixel Press’ tech were woven together by Grumpyface Studios (Regular Show – Ghost Toasters) with animation, interface and design.
