Santa Barbara, Calif. and London, U.K.-based Foothill Entertainment has promoted Elizabeth Stephens to Vice President – Sales and Development. Stephens attains the new position a mere 18 months after being upped to the directorship in the position at the company.
Stephens joined the executive production and distribution house in the fall of 2008. The UC Santa Barbara graduate has remained active in the local community since leaving school, involved in dance, music, language and fitness programs for kids. Stephens will be charged with increasing Foothill’s linear and non-linear distribution footprint in addition to focusing on new strategies for the rest of the world.
With three projects in active development at Foothill, Stephens will continue working on these co-productions in addition to her distribution initiatives. She will be attending MIPTV in her new role with plans to put the final seal on a number of deals while there. Stephens reports to company President, Jo Kavanagh-Payne.
