Cogswell College Relocating to San Jose

After over two decades based in Sunnyvale, Calif., Cogswell College will be relocating to a new location in San Jose during the month of July. The school serves some 600 students and offers a unique curriculum fusing Digtal Art, Engineering and Entrepreneurship.

Regarding the school’s relocation into his city, San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo said, “I am grateful to the Board of Trustees for making the excellent choice to locate the new headquarters of Cogswell College in San Jose. San Jose is proud to be home to one of the country’s top animation and video game design schools, and I wish President and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Deborah Snyder and her Administration every success in the years to come.”

The San Jose locale, now the school’s sixth campus since its founding in 1887, will benefit from improved access to public transportation and top companies like Cisco, Microchip, Ericsson, Samsung and Maxim. Cogswell was this year ranked by Animation Career Review as “One of the Top 50 Private Game Design Schools and Colleges in the U.S.”
