Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a new clip from the upcoming original DC Universe animated feature Justice League: Gods & Monsters — out July 28 on Blu-ray Combo and DVD. The clip features Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman preparing for battle with the U.S. Army … and the question of whether this super-powered trio will be seen as saviors or terrible enemies by the people of Earth.
From toon legend Bruce Timm, Gods & Monsters features a Justice League like fans have never seen before: a Superman (voiced by Benjamin Bratt) born of General Zod’s blood, a Batman (Michael C. Hall) who is a bit more Manbat, and a Wonder Woman (Tamara Taylor) rising from the ranks of the new gods — a crew just as likely to save the world as to rule over it as all powerful despots. The voice cast also features Paget Brewster as Lois Lane, C. Thomas Howell as Dr. Will Magnus, Jason Isaacs as Lex Luthor, Richard Chamberlain as Highfather and Tahmoh Penikett as Steve Trevor.
