Third ‘Angelo Rules’ Season Launching at MIP

London-based CAKE and French CG studio TeamTO have announced that the third season of animated kids’ comedy Angelo Rules will be debuting at MIPCOM. Co-produced by CAKE and TeamTO for France Television and Teletoon+, season 3 has been presold to Super RTL (Germany) and Cartoon Network EMEA, and is scheduled for delivery at the end of the year to broadcast in 2016. CAKE handles international distribution for the series.

Angelo Rules, based on the French book series Comment Faire Enrager written by Sylvie de Mathuisieulx and illustrated by Sebastien Diologent, follows 11-year-old Angelo — a sweet-talking genius who, along with his friends Sherwood (the king of logistics) and Lola (the ever enthusiastic) has a knack for getting out of trouble with clever plans, a rebellious nature and a lot of charisma.

Season 3 sees the arrival of director Max Maleo, who brings a fresh perspective to the latest adventures, while following the distinctive look and beloved characters as created by Chloe Miller. The new season (46 x 11 plus 3 x 22) brings the total episodes to 176.
