Cartoon Network, HBO Max Power Up May Animation Slate

A super-heroic selection of animated delights is ready to spring into action across WarnerMedia’s Cartoonito preschool block, Cartoon Network and HBO Max lineups this month!

Produced by Sesame Workshop, the new animated preschool series Sesame Street Mecha Builders reimagines Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Abby Cadabby as robot heroes-in-training who use their STEM superpowers to solve wacky, larger-than-life problems. Animated in a dynamic 3D style, the series introduces children to critical thinking and STEM concepts like simple machines, force and properties of matter, illustrated with help from the Mechas and their unique powers. Whether they’re using a wedge to split a giant banana or learning how to measure cables for a zipline through the trees, these friends are truly unstoppable!

The series premieres on Cartoon Network’s Cartoonito on Monday, May 9 at 8 a.m. ET/PT. Mecha Builders will join the block on HBO Max on May 10. (If you missed the full episode sneak peek, catch it here!)

Kicking off the month, buckle up because everyone’s favorite baby bear brothers are gearing up for more magical escapades. Baby Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear continue searching for the perfect home in all-new episodes of We Baby Bears starting Monday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT. Soaring through worlds unknown, the brothers find themselves taking on jobs as sheepherders, pet owners and perhaps the most magical of all, tooth fairies.

Catch all three episodes of the acclaimed miniseries as one epic special event beginning at 4 p.m. ET/PT.
