Guru Studio and Home Plate Entertainment have announced TVO (Ontario, Canada’s public educational media organization) has joined the development team for their new animated preschool series Wish Come True (52 x 11), a property created by art collective/creative studio FriendsWithYou.
Wish Come True is a CG animated series for kids 3-6 and centers on a nine-year-old girl named True and her adventures in Rainbow city. With her best friend Bartleby the cat, True is on call to set problems aright thanks to her bravery, athleticism, cleverness and some special help from the Wishes. The Wishes are tiny sprite-like characters that have the ability to bestow powers—making things grow, helping True fly, run fast, bounce high or shrink. Each adventure sees True choose three Wishes from the Rainbow Kings collection to help her in her quest.
The show’s origin as an art concept from FriendsWithYou inspired a visually vibrant style; also manifested in a growing toy line currently sold in specialty toy stores around the world and on Amazon.
