Italy’s Gruppo Alcuni will be presenting their brand new 3-D stereoscopic animated feature, Pet Pals in Windland, at the 70th Venice Film Festival. The film will play on Thursday, September 5 at 1 p.m. in the “Chez Vous” area of the Excelsior Hotel.
In the Pet Pals’ latest adventure, the critters adventure to Puff, also known as Windland–a small town where everything is powered by the wind. The wind is “born” in a mountain cave behind the town that is guarded day and night by the Wind Keeper. But the evil Crow Witch is determined to get her hands on the Spinwheel which generates the wind in order to take control of Windland. To do this, she must get rid of the Pet Pals, who will use all of their skills and astuteness to stop her from carrying out her dastardly plan.
